The tour will be customized to each group depending on available time, interests, and skill level. There are numerous ways to explore the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone ranging from easy to strenuous and your guide will help pick the best route for you. If you’re up for a leg workout, your guide may lead you down the infamous Uncle Tom’s Trail, where a 328 steel steps help you in descending 500 vertical feet to com face-to-face with the impressive plunge of Lower Falls. What to Bring
Rain coat, backpack, capacity to carry at least 3 liters of water.
Layered clothing appropriate for hiking and changing weather conditions. A fleece or ‘puffy’ jacket or vest is highly recommended, as is a fleece hat.
Sturdy hiking boots, trail running shoes, or other sneakers with good tread are required. Flip flops, Crocs, sandals, etc. are inadequate and will not be allowed.
Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, hiking poles, rain pants, supplemental snacks, gratuity for your guide.
