Arrive a few minutes before your scheduled departure time.

Once you have booked your tour you will receive a booking confirmation email with details on the time and date of your tour, where to meet, the cancellation policy, a receipt of your tour purchase, and requests from us if we need additional information.

You can expect that you may be with another group on your tour unless you have booked a private tour (this doesn’t happen often with full-day tours). Our guides plan accordingly for varied skill levels and choose routes that fit the needs of everyone in the group; however, this tour is not suitable for participants under 12 years of age.

There are so many things to do in Phoenix and Scottsdale and we offer a variety of these fun activities as ways to explore the desert. A full-day tour allows you to see the splendid landscape while experiencing two of our top activities.

You’ll start the day by meeting at our office in North Scottsdale where our guide will meet you for outfitting on e-bikes.

Our expertly maintained rental bike fleet consists of multi-geared touring bicycles specifically designed for ease of use and comfort on both paved bike paths, roads, and the occasional hard dirt surface along the banks of the Scottsdale canal network.

REI provides an e-bike, helmets, snacks, and water for the duration of the tour. Your knowledgeable guide will lead you on a carefully mapped route along designated bike paths and the lightly traveled suburban streets of sunny Arizona to create the perfect e-bike tour of Scottsdale.

Next up, a hike through the iconic Sonoran Desert. Our guided hiking trips are designed to be more than a simple nature walk while still accessible to a wide range of ability so that individuals of modest fitness levels, as well as more active ones, will enjoy themselves.

All the trails where we lead guided hikes have been chosen not only for their scenic beauty but also their accessibility, safety, and low volume of visitors. Combined, these factors afford our guests an unforgettable Sonoran Desert experience.

Our most popular hiking routes are in Scottsdale’s McDowell Sonoran Preserve, where a large variety of trails are available to accommodate all levels of hikers.

Finally, finish up with a well-deserved lunch at a unique local eatery!
